Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza) has announced a major logistics-driven investment by Legend Holding Group, which will invest AED 500 million to develop a one-million-square-foot automotive logistics hub in Dubai. The project is aimed at strengthening vehicle handling, storage, and distribution capabilities while supporting Dubai’s role as a global logistics gateway.

The new facility will function as Legend Motors’ regional logistics centre, managing vehicle storage, pre-delivery inspection, preparation, distribution, and after-sales logistics. From Jafza, operations will support more than 100 markets, using the free zone’s strong connectivity across sea, air, and land transport corridors.

The project will be delivered in two phases. The first phase, due by April 2026, will provide capacity for 5,000 vehicles. The second phase will expand the site into a multi-storey logistics facility capable of handling over 20,000 vehicles by January 2028. Once fully operational, the hub is expected to process more than 120,000 vehicles annually through integrated smart logistics systems.

Digital platforms, automated processes, and solar-powered infrastructure will be used to improve efficiency and reduce turnaround times. Jafza said the investment adds further depth to its automotive logistics ecosystem, which already hosts 940 companies, and strengthens its position as a key multimodal logistics hub supporting global trade.
