Responding to customer demand for reliable regional trade solutions, Kenya Airways Cargo (KQ Cargo) has expanded its network with the launch of its first direct cargo flight from Sharjah to Dar es Salaam. The inaugural flight carried 20.9 tonnes of cargo on the new route. Plans are underway to increase flight frequency in the coming weeks, enhancing connectivity between the UAE and East Africa and support faster, more efficient supply chains. This milestone was achieved with Alkhor Air Cargo and the support of key stakeholders, reflecting KQ Cargo’s commitment to regional logistics networks and delivering value-driven services to its customers. The new direct service aims to reduce transit times, streamline handling, and bolster trade flows, reinforcing the carrier’s position as a leading player in regional and global air freight.
