Kuehne+Nagel operates a 50,000 sq.mtrs., warehouse in Dubai Logistics City, near to Jebel Ali Seaport and Dubai International Airport. The company is one of a few that has just been certified by Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) to provide aggregated services for medical supplies. “All pharma and medical supplies must be recorded and registered with MOHAP before entering the UAE market to detect counterfeit and falsified drugs and track and trace illegal supplies of healthcare products. It is mandatory,” Safa Al Khayat, Pharmacist, Kuehne+Nagel, said. The Aggregation License obtained by the company in the UAE complements a similar certification received in the Kingdom of Bahrain in 2021. Over 30,000 sq.mtrs., of warehousing space, equal to 50,000 pallet positions, are dedicated to pharma by Kuehne+Nagel in Dubai. The cold room with a temperature from 2° to 8°C and ambient chambers from 15° to 25°C with additional security are used solely for temperature-sensitive healthcare cargo.“At the forefront of our approach in healthcare is that at the end of every supply chain is a patient,” Lee I’Ons, GCC+ Cluster Managing Director at Kuehne+Nagel, said.
