Magma Aviation added a new Boeing 747F to its fleet, marking a milestone in its plan to expand cargo ops globally. “The freighter is capable of ferrying 100 tonnes of cargo per flight. Its versatility makes it ideal for handling outsized, specialised, and sensitive cargo, including mining equipment, helicopters, and high-value goods. It will also open new opportunities in cargo,” said Peter Kerins, CEO, Magma Aviation. Magma emphasised that this growth is part of a long-term vision to triple its fleet by 2030, incorporating a mix of B747Fs, B777Fs, and BB747FFFs.
