CargoTalk is media partners for the 25th edition of the Airport Show, set to take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 12–14 May 2026. The event will bring together over 140 exhibitors from more than 20 countries to showcase innovations in airport operations, cargo handling, and passenger services. The theme, “The Future of Airport Innovation Starts Here,” highlights the region’s push for smarter, more efficient, and sustainable airports.
The Middle East is set to see a projected investment of US$151 billion in airport capacity expansion by 2040. Major projects in Dubai and Riyadh alone will handle 260 million and 185 million passengers annually, reflecting the region’s rapidly growing air traffic. Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Bahrain are leading the expansion, with airports focusing on new terminals, additional runways, and modernized cargo facilities to meet future demand.
His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Patron of the Airport Show, said the event will help airports improve efficiency, safety, and passenger experience. Exhibitors will highlight solutions for energy-efficient buildings, renewable energy, digital tools, and autonomous vehicles.
Over 7,000 attendees, including 120 buyers, are expected to explore solutions that optimize cargo operations, streamline airport processes, and support sustainability. The show underscores the Middle East’s role as a global hub for aviation, logistics, and large-scale airport infrastructure development.
