Middle East strengthens role as trade, air cargo hub

The Middle East is emerging as one of the world’s most dynamic air cargo regions, with strong trade growth linking Gulf economies to Asia’s manufacturing powerhouses. From January to July 2025, demand for air freight between Asia and the Middle East rose 27%, while capacity expanded by 11%.
