The Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON) has signed a series of new agreements worth SAR 8.80 billion to boost the Kingdom’s industrial and logistics sector. The deals cover more than 3.30 million square meters of land and aim to support new factories, warehouses, and key logistics services across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

One of the major agreements is a SAR 5 billion project to build a private industrial complex in Dammam Third Industrial City. The complex will cover 1.80 million square meters and is expected to create new space for manufacturing and logistics operations, helping companies store, move, and handle goods more efficiently.

MODON also signed an agreement with China’s JINGDONG Property to build new warehouses in MODON Oasis in Jeddah. The warehouses will cover 50,000 square meters and will involve an investment of up to SAR 100 million. These facilities are expected to support growing demand for storage and e-commerce distribution in the region. In addition, MODON signed a memorandum of understanding to study, develop, and operate more industrial and logistics projects worth SAR 3.75 billion. The new plans aim to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s supply chain network and support the country’s fast-growing logistics sector.
