DHL Supply Chain Türkiye has opened a new multi-sector logistics facility, called Asya 1, in Tuzla, Istanbul. The warehouse aims to support industries with complex storage and transport needs, especially healthcare. Located near Sabiha Gökçen International Airport, the facility is expected to improve cargo movement between Istanbul, the Marmara region and other trade centres in Türkiye.

DHL Supply Chain Türkiye General Manager Buket Cox said, “Our multi-sector structure allows us to respond with high agility to the rapidly changing needs of various industries.”

The new site offers 36,000 square metres of warehouse space, including temperature-controlled areas for sensitive products. The company said the facility combines warehousing, transportation and value-added services under one operating model, helping customers manage supply chains more efficiently.

The healthcare sector is expected to benefit from the facility’s regulatory-compliant infrastructure and controlled storage systems, which are important for pharmaceutical and medical products. The site also includes automation-supported warehouse operations and security systems for handling high-value cargo.

DHL Supply Chain Türkiye said the location near the airport will help reduce transit times and support faster distribution. The company added that the facility uses solar panels, energy monitoring systems and low-emission equipment as part of its sustainability efforts.
