New digital tools to speed up, streamline air cargo ops

SeaRates.com ERP by DP World has integrated CargoAi’s digital tools into its system, giving freight forwarders a faster and more connected way to manage their air cargo operations. The partnership brings real-time tracking, instant airline quotes, booking options, and automated airway bill messaging into a single platform, making daily workflows simpler and more efficient.

With the integration of CargoAi’s CargoCONNECT APIs, more than 300 forwarders using SeaRates ERP can now track shipments across over 240 airlines without switching platforms. They can also access instant quotes and booking options from more than 105 airlines, reducing the time usually spent on emails and manual rate checks. The system also supports automated FHL and FWB messaging to over 120 airlines, helping users stay fully compliant with eAWB requirements.

The move marks another step in DP World’s push to support digital transformation in global logistics. By bringing these tools together, SeaRates ERP aims to cut delays, improve visibility, and give forwarders a smoother end-to-end airfreight experience.

Both companies stated the collaboration will help air cargo players adopt digital processes faster, especially at a time when the industry is shifting towards automation and integrated online platforms.
