Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) commences work on a new 5,839 square metre warehousing facility by Indu at Al Hamra Industrial Zone. The warehouse will offer a storage capacity of around 12,000 cubic metres and is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2026. The facility will mainly serve FMCG, hotel supplies and food businesses, supporting the growing F&B sector across the Northern Emirates.
Kush Kishore Lakhani, Managing Director at Indu, said the investment reflects rising activity in Ras Al Khaimah and growing demand for advanced logistics solutions, especially in the FMCG and F&B sectors.
The project comes as Ras Al Khaimah sees steady growth in tourism, hospitality and retail, increasing the need for reliable storage and distribution infrastructure. Indu is expanding its presence in the emirate as part of its plan to become a multi-industry logistics provider.
The new warehouse is designed to offer specialised storage solutions to meet rising demand from businesses operating in food and consumer goods supply chains. Once operational, it is expected to strengthen supply chain efficiency in the Northern Emirates.
