Oman Air has extended its cargo handling and trucking contract with Worldwide Flight Services (WFS), reinforcing its logistics presence across France, a press released stated. The renewed agreement, signed during Air Cargo Europe in Munich, covers cargo handling at Paris Charles de Gaulle and trucking connections to 11 regional airports, including Lyon, Nice, Marseille, and Toulouse. This partnership signals Oman Air’s continued investment in reliable European cargo connectivity and WFS’ commitment to delivering consistent, SLA-driven performance across its French operations, strengthening Middle East-Europe freight corridors with enhanced service coverage. Operating four weekly Boeing 787-900 flights between Muscat and Paris, Oman Air transports over 7,500 tonnes of freight annually. The airline leverages WFS’ CEIV Pharma and GDP-certified facilities for sensitive shipments like pharmaceuticals, perishables, and live animals, ensuring top-tier service standards and compliance. WFS’ extensive ground network will continue to support Oman Air’s bespoke cargo offerings, including high-value and temperature-sensitive goods, the release added.
