Sultanate of Oman’s Ministry of Labour has announced that effective 1 September, a Professional Practice License will be mandatory for several logistics sector roles. The move aims to enhance workforce standards and regulate labour practices across the Sultanate. Both Omani and expatriate workers must obtain the license via the sectoral skills unit platform to be eligible for new or renewed work permits. Non-compliance will result in
legal and administrative action. This directive applies to all individuals and establishments operating in Oman’s logistics sector.
