Oman and Russia are strengthening cooperation in trade, logistics and supply chains, with both sides looking to improve the movement of goods and investment between the two economies. The focus is on building smoother trade routes and expanding connectivity across key cargo and distribution networks.
Efforts are centred on improving logistics systems that support energy, industrial goods and food supplies, while also widening access to new trade corridors. The aim is to make cross-border movement of goods more efficient and less dependent on limited routes, especially as global supply chains continue to shift.
Both countries are also working to link businesses and institutions more closely to speed up cargo handling, distribution and investment-linked trade activity. The push reflects a broader interest in making supply chains more resilient and flexible, while opening new opportunities for exporters and logistics operators in both Oman and Russia.
