Petrochem Middle East has opened its largest terminal and headquarters in Jebel Ali, boosting the company’s logistics and chemical distribution capabilities in the region, said His Excellency Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Group Chairman and CEO, DP World. The AED 300 million facility brings together operational and corporate functions under one roof, designed to streamline storage, handling, and supply chain operations.

“Petrochem’s decision to expand operations in Dubai reflects the confidence global manufacturers place in the emirate as a base for long-term growth. This new terminal strengthens supply chain resilience and supports the growth of high-value manufacturing and chemical sectors in the region. It is exactly the type of private-sector commitment that advances the goals of Economy Agenda D33 to accelerate industrial development and anchor economic growth,” he added.

The terminal strengthens Dubai’s industrial and manufacturing ecosystem by improving chemical distribution across the UAE, GCC, and wider Middle East. Its strategic location in Jebel Ali provides fast, reliable access to transport networks, allowing Petrochem to move materials more efficiently and serve regional and global markets with shorter lead times.

Built for long-term growth, the facility integrates modern infrastructure and scalable design, enabling the company to expand operations as demand rises. It also supports supply chain resilience, reducing complexity for manufacturers and industrial clients who rely on timely, secure delivery of chemicals and raw materials.
