QAIA records 30,618 tonnes of cargo in H1 2026

Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) handled 30,618 tonnes of cargo and recorded 32,311 aircraft movements during the first half of 2026, maintaining steady air cargo operations and supporting Jordan’s trade connectivity. The airport also processed 6,546 tonnes of cargo in June, marking a 35.9% increase compared to the same month in 2025.

The cargo performance highlights the airport’s role in supporting freight movement and connecting businesses with regional and international markets. Efficient airport operations and strong coordination with industry partners remain important in ensuring smooth cargo flows and supporting supply chain activity.
