Qatar, Brazil look to enhance logistics links

Qatar and Brazil are set to strengthen trade cooperation by improving supply chain connectivity and creating new opportunities for businesses, with a focus on food security and the food industry. The initiative aims to support smoother trade flows, diversify sourcing options and encourage partnerships between companies in both countries.

The cooperation is expected to help businesses explore new supply channels, improve access to goods and strengthen logistics links between Qatar and Brazil. Greater collaboration in food and related sectors could support more efficient movement of products and build more resilient supply chains.

Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Obaidly, Qatar Chamber Board Member, said Qatar and Brazil maintain strong bilateral relations and highlighted the importance of supporting joint ventures and partnerships to expand trade and investment.

The two sides are also working on a roadmap to encourage greater private sector cooperation. The move is expected to create opportunities for companies involved in trade, logistics and supply chain operations by strengthening connections between markets and supporting cross-border business growth.
