Elaborating on Qatar’s developments in the air cargo and logistics sector at the second edition of Gulf-Azerbaijani Economic Forum, al-Misnad, Chairman, Qatar Chamber’s Services Committee and Qatar Association for Freight Forwarding and Logistics (QAFL), said, “Qatar is amid East and West, and between Africa, Asia, and Europe. The country is home to the premier air cargo company, Qatar Airways Cargo, the “best airline,” Qatar Airways, the “second-best airport,” Hamad International Airport, and the “eighth-largest port” Hamad Port, globally. “The country’s investment is reflected in the volume of the transportation market, which reached US$9.9 billion, positioning Qatar as the “second-best in the region” in terms of logistics efficiency,” Qatar has become a leading global center for investment and business, as well as a hub for global trade and logistics,” he added. The chamnber has committed to improving supply chains and logistics services, encouraging investors to explore the vital sector. Due to its efforts, the Qatar Chamber is a member of FIATA.
