Qatar Post has expanded its land freight and logistics operations across the Gulf, increasing road transport capacity and cross-border routes to move goods faster between GCC countries. The expansion supports growing e-commerce, industrial shipments and regional trade flows, with higher truck frequencies and wider cargo handling across key corridors.
The postal operator has increased truck services to Kuwait from three trips a week to three trips a day. It is also transporting a wider range of goods, including online shopping parcels, industrial equipment, heavy cargo and transit shipments between regional markets.
Chief Operating Officer Hamad Mohammed Al Fahida said Qatar Post now handles more than 6,000 international shipments per month. He said the network supports delivery services, customs clearance and distribution for both businesses and individuals across multiple countries.
He said the system is built on flexible routing and coordinated logistics that help move shipments through different GCC destinations using road transport links and regional partnerships.
Qatar Post said the expanded land freight network is improving connectivity between markets and supporting faster movement of goods for e-commerce and commercial supply chains. It added that the system is helping businesses reach customers across borders more efficiently.
