Qatar Airways Cargo has increased cargo capacity on key Americas routes including Dallas, Houston, New York, São Paulo and Caracas via Bogotá, adding higher weekly volumes across its network for the month of May. This expanded capacity will improve connections between the Americas and the Middle East through Doha.

Caracas (via Bogotá) now offers 20 tonnes of belly-hold capacity each way per week. Dallas has risen to 54 tonnes per week each way. Houston now provides 228 tonnes per week each way, including 200 tonnes from freighter operations and additional belly capacity. New York has increased to 88 tonnes per week each way. São Paulo now offers more than 479 tonnes per week each way, including 400 tonnes from freighter operations.

Sources from Qatar Airways Cargo said the increase strengthens cargo movement between North and South America, where demand for faster and more reliable logistics continues to grow. Higher capacity supports movement of time-sensitive goods such as perishables, industrial supplies and e-commerce shipments.

More routes and added frequency give shippers greater flexibility in routing cargo and help reduce pressure on individual trade lanes. This can improve stability when demand shifts or when supply chains face disruption.
