QR Cargo, Cainiao expand China–Europe e-commerce

Qatar Airways Cargo (QR Cargo) and Cainiao have expanded their partnership to accelerate cross-border e-commerce deliveries, said Mark Drusch, Chief Officer Cargo, QR Cargo The collaboration was formalised at the Cainiao Global Smart Logistics Summit in Hangzhou on 10 September. Under the pact, Cainiao will double weekly charter flights on key China–Europe routes, leveraging QR Cargo’s global network and operational capabilities. This expansion provides merchants with greater flexibility in planning and delivering exports to Europe, while supporting Chinese businesses in growing their international presence. The collaboration strengthens their global logistics network and builds on the success of their 2023 Global 5-Day Delivery service, moving closer to their goal of worldwide delivery within 72 hours, informed Wan Lin, CEO, Cainiao.
