Quiqup has launched a new platform called “Shop Local” to strengthen e-commerce logistics support for small and medium businesses in the UAE. The initiative is aimed at improving how local brands manage online orders, delivery, and customer reach through a single digital system.
The platform allows SMEs to list their products online while using Quiqup’s logistics network to handle fulfilment and last-mile delivery. This reduces the operational burden on smaller retailers and helps speed up order processing and distribution. It also improves product visibility by grouping multiple local brands in one place, making it easier for customers to discover and purchase from them.
The focus is on solving key logistics challenges for small businesses, especially around delivery efficiency, order management, and scaling online sales. By integrating logistics with a digital storefront model, the platform supports smoother movement of goods from sellers to customers.
Quiqup said it has already received around 190 brand submissions and plans to onboard more businesses in the coming weeks. A related initiative, “Source Local”, is also planned to extend logistics and connectivity support to suppliers and manufacturers, linking them more directly with potential buyers.
