Rhenus has opened a new office at Dubai Humanitarian to manage air, sea and road freight, strengthening its ability to coordinate shipments across regional and international routes.

The office will support cargo planning, transport coordination and cross-border movements for goods ranging from pharmaceuticals and food to shelter materials and emergency equipment. Its location within the logistics hub gives Rhenus closer access to organisations and partners involved in international supply chains.

The move follows the launch of the company’s humanitarian logistics services in the UAE earlier this year. Rhenus has since developed regional and cross-border transport solutions and secured a Dubai Humanitarian Free Zone licence.

The new base is expected to help the company coordinate freight movements across different transport modes and respond to changing shipment needs. Combining air, sea and road services can give customers more routing options, particularly when cargo must move quickly or pass through complex transport networks.

Hassan Alzeer, Managing Director of Rhenus Middle East, said: “Being part of this community allows us to work more closely with our partners and better support their logistics requirements when and where they are needed.”
