A new A321-200PF freighter joined the Royal Jordanian fleet, bolstering its capacity to meet the cargo industry’s increasing demand, Samer Majali, Vice Chairman/CEO, Royal Jordanian, said. The freighter is leased on a long-term basis from UMBF and is one of the most versatile aircraft in its class.

With the ability to transport containers on the main deck, it offers fast loading and offloading, enabling highly efficient flight operations. It thus underscores Royal Jordanian’s commitment to efficiency and reliability in the global cargo market.

The aircraft will reach nine new destinations on the airline’s network. The twin-engine, medium-haul aircraft contains 14 pallets and container positions on the main deck and an additional 10 on the lower deck, with a total payload capacity of 28 tonnes.

We hope to have a fleet of 41 aircraft in its fleet in the coming few years. “We aim to enhance Jordan’s position as the logistics hub in the region and increase its share in the freight market on a regional and international level,” Majali said.
