SAL Logistics Services and SPL Digital Services have signed an agreement to develop joint digital logistics solutions across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The agreement aims to improve cargo handling, supply chain management, and e-commerce operations by integrating advanced digital tools into SAL’s business units.
Dr. Simon Hassannia, Chief Digital Officer at SAL, said the collaboration combines SAL’s operational expertise with SPL’s digital capabilities, enabling innovative services that add value to customers and support Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals of building a world-class logistics sector.
The partnership will focus on creating digital solutions for pharmaceutical logistics, postal services, ground handling, and other service lines. These tools will unify data flow, enhance operational decision-making, and improve customer experience from first mile to post-delivery.
Dedicated teams and steering committees from both companies will oversee projects, track progress, and ensure continuous improvement. The MoU reflects a growing focus on digital transformation in logistics, helping Saudi Arabia enhance trade efficiency, expand operational capabilities, and position itself as a regional hub for advanced supply chain solutions.
