Salalah Free Zone secures RO187 mn new logistics projects

Salalah Free Zone (SFZ), part of Asyad Group, has attracted six new projects worth over RO187 mn in the first half of 2025 — bringing total cumulative investments to RO4.9 bn since its launch. The growth underscores SFZ’s rising status as astrategic logistics hub with 87 per cent  of warehouses now occupied and 51 per cent of leasable land. The zone’s prime location at the crossroads of Asia, Africa and Europe – coupled with the integration with Salalah Port and Salalah Airport – offers direct global connectivity for cargo operations. Seven additional strategic projects – valued at more than RO80 million –have entered pilot operations or construction further strengthening SFZ’s role in Oman’s economic diversification and enhancing the region’s logistics infrastructure. Dr. Ali bin Mohammed Tabuk, CEO of Salalah Free Zone, said, “We are focused on attracting projects that not only leverage our advanced infrastructure, attractive incentives and Asyad Group’s end-to-end logistics solutions but also contribute to economic diversification.”
