Salasa secures US$ 30 mn to build tech-first logistics

Salasa has raised US$ 30 million in a Series B round to expand its logistics infrastructure and cross-border capabilities, said Abdulmajeed Alyemni,Co-founder and CEO, Salasa. Led by Artal Capital with support from SVC, Wa’ed Ventures,500 Global and Alsulaiman Group, the funding will accelerate the development of dark stores, bonded zones, and AI-powered supply chain systems. Salasa aims to become a technology-first logistics enabler, helping merchants scale through smarter fulfillment, inventory management, and international shipping. With 1,000 merchant clients and more than 50 million products shipped, Salasa integrates with platforms, such as Amazon, Salla, ZID, and Shopify, and partners with over 40 carriers. The move positions the company to meet surging demand in Saudi Arabia’s SAR 86 billion e-commerce market and unlocks regional growth opportunities across the GCC and beyond.
