Saudi Railways (SAR) has unveiled a new international logistics corridor connecting Eastern Province ports with Jordan and northern regions of the Kingdom via Al-Hadithah. The freight rail initiative links Arabian Gulf ports to key border points, streamlining cargo movement and reducing transit times. The corridor is set to enhance export capabilities, improve supply chain efficiency, and strengthen regional trade connectivity. Aligned with Saudi Arabia’s National Transport and Logistics Strategy and Vision 2030, the project reinforces the Kingdom’s ambition to become a global logistics hub while supporting economic diversification and sustainable freight solutions across integrated rail and port networks.
