Saudia cargo expands its fleet with wet lease from ASL Aviation

Saudia Cargo has added an Airbus A330-300P2F freighter to its fleet under a wet lease agreement with ASL Aviation Holdings strengthening its global air cargo capacity and connectivity. The aircraft MSN 1272 arrived at Shannon Airport in June after passenger-to-freighter conversion and will begin service with ASL Airlines Ireland in September 2025 before delivery to Saudia Cargo in Q4. The A330-300P2F is capable of carrying up to 62 tonnes over 6,850 km offering 26 main-deck and 11 lower-hold pallet positions supporting general cargo, express and e-commerce. A second aircraft under the same ACMI lease is also scheduled for Q4 delivery. CEO Eng. Loay Mashabi said the expansion supports Saudia Cargo’s strategy to enhance agility, efficiency, and the Kingdom’s role as a global logistics hub.
