Saudia Cargo launches SAL in collaboration with TAM Group

Saudia Cargo has announced the launch of Saudia Cargo Global (SAL), a new JV with China-based TAM Group, said Eng. Loay Mashabi, CEO and MD, Saudia Cargo. SAL will leverage five freighter hubs and offer advanced cargo services, including e-commerce logistics and pharma transport. Headquartered in Hong Kong, SAL will serve as the airline’s command centre for Greater China and the APAC region, offering tailored air freight services across one of the world’s fastest-growing trade corridors. The JV aligns with Saudi Arabia Vision 2030 goals, aiming to strengthen the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s non-oil exports and enhance its status as a logistics hub. “Leveraging TAM Group’s expertise and our robust network, SAL will unlock new opportunities and strengthen regional and global trade through five freighter hubs,” he added.
