Saudia Cargo, Riyadh Cargo expand cargo network

Saudia Cargo and Riyadh Cargo have signed an interline agreement that will allow cargo to move more easily between their networks, giving freight forwarders access to more international destinations through Saudi Arabia. The partnership aims to improve cargo connectivity, increase routing options and support trade through the Kingdom.

Under the agreement, the two carriers will combine Saudia Cargo’s existing global network with Riyadh Cargo’s growing operations. Customers will be able to ship cargo across a wider range of markets using a single interline arrangement, offering greater flexibility and smoother transfers between flights.

The agreement also extends Riyadh Cargo’s reach beyond its current destinations, including London, Dubai, Cairo, Jeddah, Madrid and Malaga. It will also support planned services to Mumbai, Kuala Lumpur and Dhaka as the airline expands its international network.

For the logistics sector, the partnership is expected to improve cargo capacity and make it easier for freight forwarders to connect shipments across different regions without relying on separate carrier agreements. It also strengthens Saudi Arabia’s role as a regional cargo gateway by improving links through Riyadh and Jeddah, supporting the country’s National Transport and Logistics Strategy and Vision 2030.
