The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) hosted a high-level Belarusian delegation to discuss enhancing trade, logistics, and investment cooperation. The discussions, led by SCCI Chairman Abdallah Sultan Al Owais and Belarusian Ambassador Igor Bely, aimed at deepening bilateral relations and expanding opportunities for business growth between both markets. Al Owais highlighted Sharjah’s readiness to support Belarusian companies seeking to benefit from the emirate’s advanced logistics network, strategic location, and investor-friendly environment. He emphasised the importance of translating strong diplomatic relations into concrete business ventures that enhance trade flows and connectivity. The Belarusian side presented a catalogue of key export sectors, including industrial machinery, vehicles, chemicals, and agricultural products aligning with Sharjah’s growing trade and logistics ecosystem. The meeting also underscored participation in trade exhibitions as a catalyst for expanding business partnerships. A Belarusian trade and tourism delegation is likely to visit Sharjah next year to explore new avenues for collaboration.
