SolitAir secures UK access for cargo operations

SolitAir has received Third Country Operator (TCO) certification from the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), allowing the UAE-based cargo airline to operate flights to and from the UK. The approval expands SolitAir’s regulatory reach and supports future connectivity between the UAE, the UK, and other international cargo markets.

The certification allows SolitAir to meet UK safety and operational requirements for non-UK carriers. It adds to the airline’s existing approvals, including the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) Air Operator Certificate, EASA Third Country Operator authorisation covering the European Union, and ACC3 designation for secure cargo operations into Europe.

The new approval will support SolitAir’s plans to develop additional routes and strengthen air cargo links between key trade regions. The UK remains an important market for global commerce, with strong demand for efficient cargo connections across Europe, the Middle East, and beyond.

SolitAir currently operates 56 routes across 34 countries, including a 17-city network in Africa. The carrier recently launched services to Sofia, Bulgaria, and announced its third route to Jinan, China. The airline operates a fleet of seven Boeing 737-800BCF/SF freighter aircraft from its hub at Dubai World Central, supporting cargo movement across underserved trade routes.
