Saudi Post (SPL) and SAL Logistics Services have signed a pact to enhance mail handling and shipment transfer operations across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, strengthening the integration between postal and logistics networks. Under the pact, SAL will oversee mail handling end-to-end, from receipt and preparation of dedicated loading units to secure transfer between warehouses, postal facilities, and aircraft. The collaboration is expected to improve efficiency, speed, and reliability in express mail and cargo operations nationwide. Khalid Al-Mohammed, Vice President, SPL highlighted the partnership supports KSA’s logistics ecosystem, accelerates distribution, and reinforces SPL’s role in e-commerce growth. SAL Ground Handling CEO Mohammed Nahas noted that the agreement aligns logistics and postal operations with national economic objectives, ensuring faster, safer, and more reliable cargo processing. The deal underscores the Kingdom’s commitment to world-class logistics standards and positions the Kingdom as a key regional hub, in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
