Oman Air Cargo has appointed Swissport as its ground handler at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, following the launch of its Muscat-Amsterdam route on 1 July 2025, disclosed Claudius Pereira, Senior Manager, Cargo Commercial Operations, Oman Air. The B787-9 aircraft, flying weekly four times, will offer a capacity of 14 to 18 tonnes. The flight transports pharma, engineering spares and express shipments. “Europe is an important market for us in terms of revenue and as a key hub in the region, Amsterdam is an ideal addition to our expanding network,” Pereira said.  Operations will run from Swissport’s 20,000 square metres CEIV-certified facility at Terminal 11, said Jeroen J. Giling, Head, Cargo, the Netherlands, Swissport.
