TruKKer Middle East is moving its technology workloads to Tencent Cloud’s Saudi Arabia region to support its digital freight operations across the Middle East. The company is also adopting Tencent Cloud’s CodeBuddy AI tool to speed up software development and improve the systems used to match shipments with available trucks.

TruKKer connects shippers and carriers across Saudi Arabia, the UAE and neighbouring markets. Its network includes more than 75,000 trucks and over 1,200 enterprise customers across sectors such as retail, automotive, construction and energy.

The cloud migration is expected to improve application response times and service reliability. This is important for freight operations that depend on real-time shipment matching, vehicle dispatch, tracking and settlement. The local infrastructure is also expected to support Saudi Arabia’s data residency requirements.

CodeBuddy will assist TruKKer’s engineering teams with code generation, reviews, testing and deployment. The company expects this to reduce manual work and speed up software updates supporting its freight platform.

Pradeep Mallavarapu, Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of TruKKer Middle East, said: “Our goal is to continuously strengthen the technology foundation behind our digital freight ecosystem while delivering greater efficiency and visibility for customers and carrier partners.”

The move reflects the growing role of cloud technology and AI in managing freight networks and coordinating transport capacity across regional markets.
