UAE-India trade targets $200bn by 2032

The UAE and India recorded bilateral trade of US$101.25 billion in the 2025-26 financial year, crossing the $100 billion mark for a second consecutive year. The countries are now targeting $200 billion in bilateral trade by 2032, supported by projects aimed at improving trade and logistics links.
Among the initiatives supporting closer economic ties are Bharat Mart, the Virtual Trade Corridor and cooperation under the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC). They are helping connect supply chains, open new trade routes and improve the movement of goods and investment between the two markets and beyond.
For the logistics sector, stronger UAE-India links can support more efficient cargo flows and create additional routes for trade between Asia, the Middle East and European markets. Better supply chain integration can also give freight and logistics companies more options for moving goods across borders.
The UAE-India Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), which came into force in 2022, has contributed to higher flows of goods, services and investment. It has also widened opportunities for private-sector businesses in both countries.
