The new multi-entry visit visa for truck drivers to the UAE is likely to ease cargo flow, boost cross-border trade, and reinforce the country’s position as a leading logistics hub. The visa allows the truck drivers engaged in cross-border trade to enter UAE multiple times within 30, 60, or 90 days, depending on the chosen choice. Fees are set at AED 300 for 30 days, AED 500 for 60 days, and AED 700 for 90 days. Drivers must provide proof of employment with a UAE firm, a valid driving license, truck ownership papers, passport with at least six months’ validity, and health insurance, among others. The scheme is aimed at professional drivers linked to UAE-based shipping or logistics companies, ensuring frequent cross-border transport activities face fewer disruptions
