UAE’s SolitAir makes its debut into mainland China

UAE cargo airline, SolitAir, has launched its first direct cargo flight to Urumqi, China, marking its debut into mainland China, according to an official statement. The new route strengthens trade link between the UAE and China — its largest trading partner with bilateral trade of US$101.8 billion in 2024. Positioned as a vital Silk Road hub, Urumqi links China to Central Asia, the Middle East and Europe, supporting the fast-growing demand for e-commerce, high-value goods and time-sensitive cargo, while reinforcing Dubai’s role as a premier global logistics hub.
