Uzbekistan carrier My Freighter to begin flights to China

Uzbekistan-based carrier My Freighter will add China to its network after being being authorised for flights in the country. My Freighter said: “We are pleased to announce that MY FREIGHTER has successfully obtained CCAR129 certification, permitting operations on routes to and from Mainland China. This certification marks a significant step in our commitment to providing high-quality service and expanding our global operations.”

In March My Freighter took delivery of its third newly converted 767-300 passenger to freighter (P2F) aircraft from US lessor Air Transport Services Group (ATSG).

The airline took delivery of its 747-200F in October 2022 and said at the time it planned to add five more, although reduced demand in 2023 resulted in many airlines changing their fleet plans. The airline’s specialist air cargo verticals include dangerous goods, perishables and brokerage and certification. Cargo flights are operated under ‘My Freighter Cargo Airlines’, whilst passenger flights are operated under ‘Centrum Air.’
