Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) has extended its cargo handling contract with Oman Air at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, informed Laurent Bernard, Vice President, France, WFS. “Our team in France understands the airline’s processes and responsibility to ensure the quality of Oman Air’s bespoke freight transportation solutions, including for commodities such as pharma, fresh produce, valuables and dangerous goods.” The deal also covers trucking services linking 11 regional airports across France. Oman Air operates four weekly Boeing 787-900 flights between Muscat and Paris, transporting 7,500 tonnes of cargo annually. The pact, signed at Air Cargo Europe in Munich, enhances Oman Air’s access to WFS’s IATA CEIV Pharma-certified facilities, including temperature-sensitive and live animal handling services.
