Showcasing its advanced logistics capabilities, DP World has elevated its partnership with the ICC to Premier Partner status. This enhanced collaboration comes ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, set for June 1 to 29 across the USA and West Indies, featuring 55 matches in nine locations, including New York, Texas, and Florida. Since partnering in June 2023, DP World has played a crucial role in delivering cricket equipment and providing logistics for ICC events. Recently, they transported 10 grass pitches grown in Florida over 1,200 miles to New York’s Nassau County International Cricket Stadium using 20 vehicles. DP World also supports grassroots cricket through Beyond Boundaries Initiative, which pledges cricket kits for every 100 runs scored, with 2,500 kits pledged and 1,750 delivered to young cricketers in India, South Africa, and the UAE. “Our ICC partnership empowers people to enjoy the gentleman’s game globally,” said Daniel van Otterdijk, Chief Communications Officer, DP World.
