A high-level delegation from Zhejiang Federation of Industry and Commerce (ZFIC), led by Vice President Jin Min Xiang, visited Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE) to explore investment opportunities in Egypt’s rapidly evolving logistics hub. During the visit, Walid Gamal El-Din, Chairperson, SCZONE, highlighted the zone’s integrated logistics ecosystem — connecting six ports across the Mediterranean and Red Sea with four industrial zones supported by advanced infrastructure. SCZONE is designed to serve as a global trade and logistics hub, focusing on localising 21 industrial, service and logistics sectors. The visit follows a promotional tour to China last month, which resulted in signing of six projects and interest in logistics-linked sectors within SCZONE.
