Aramex has restarted its delivery services to Syria after a break of more than 10 years, marking an important step in reconnecting trade routes across the region. The first shipment reached Damascus in September, showing the company’s effort to rebuild links and support cross-border trade in the Levant. The move comes as Syria continues its recovery and businesses look for more reliable transport and delivery options.

Hussam Al-Baraquoni, Vice President – MENAT, Aramex, said the decision reflects the company’s commitment to providing dependable logistics services even in challenging markets. He added that the team worked hard to make the comeback possible.

The return of Aramex services is expected to help both individuals and businesses. It will make it easier for people to send and receive parcels, support small traders, and reconnect families living abroad. The company said it worked for several months with local and regional partners to prepare for the restart and ensure that operations meet all required regulations.

By resuming its services, Aramex aims to strengthen trade networks, improve regional connectivity, and play a role in Syria’s rebuilding process, while expanding its presence across the Middle East.
