Aramex Saudi has expanded the electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure supporting its logistics fleet through its partnership with ASX eMobility. The latest deployment includes multiple charging units and a Sungrow DC fast charger, helping the company support more electric vehicles in its delivery operations across Saudi Arabia.
The expansion is expected to make it easier for logistics operators to introduce electric vehicles into their fleets by providing the charging infrastructure needed for daily operations. As more companies look to reduce emissions and operating costs, reliable charging networks are becoming an important part of fleet planning and last-mile logistics.
The collaboration goes beyond installing chargers. ASX eMobility is also providing access to its E-FILL charging network while working with vehicle manufacturers to support fleet operators as they transition to electric vehicles. This integrated approach allows logistics companies to add EVs gradually without disrupting operations.
Mohammed Almusawa, CEO of ASX eMobility | E-FILL, said the company is focused on developing charging infrastructure and supporting fleet operators with practical electrification solutions.
Aramex began testing electric vehicles for last-mile deliveries in Saudi Arabia in 2020 as part of its fleet electrification plans. The latest expansion reflects the growing role of electric mobility in logistics as operators invest in infrastructure to support more sustainable transport and delivery networks.
