Dubai is moving rapidly toward large-scale drone delivery, targeting 70 per cent city coverage by 2030, as Keeta Drone expands its autonomous logistics operations. The company has rolled out multiple commercial BVLOS (Beyond Visual Line of Sight) routes, including a new link in Nad Al Sheba, enabling faster, contactless, and environmentally friendly deliveries for food and groceries.

Keeta Drone’s fourth-generation autonomous drones operate alongside automated ground support units, creating an integrated delivery system designed to handle high-demand urban areas efficiently. The drones are engineered for Dubai’s extreme conditions, including high temperatures, wind, and sand, while a sophisticated AI simulation system runs millions of safety-training cycles to optimize route planning, hazard detection, and operational reliability.

The initiative is central to Dubai’s vision for smarter, sustainable urban logistics. By shifting last-mile delivery to the air, Keeta Drone reduces road congestion, lowers emissions, and improves service speed and reliability. The company is also expanding merchant integration and exploring nighttime operations to enhance capacity and consumer choice. According to Dr. Yinian Mao, President of Keeta Drone, the pilot network is turning Dubai’s ambitious drone delivery plans into a real operational system, demonstrating how technology and logistics innovation can transform supply chains and urban mobility.
