Boeing has unveiled its new airlift and cargo capabilities at the World Defense Show in Riyadh, underscoring its focus on long-range transport operations, heavy cargo movement, and military logistics. The company highlighted platforms designed to move equipment, supplies and personnel efficiently, supporting both defence and humanitarian missions.
At the centre of Boeing’s cargo offering is the CH-47 Chinook, a heavy-lift helicopter widely used for transporting large and outsized cargo in complex and demanding environments. The aircraft plays a key role in sustaining supply chains, enabling rapid resupply operations and supporting disaster relief and humanitarian assistance where access is limited.
Boeing also showcased the KC-46 Pegasus, a multi-mission aircraft that combines aerial refuelling with strategic airlift capability. Beyond its refuelling role, the KC-46 can transport cargo, troops and medical evacuation loads over long distances, allowing for flexible and sustained logistics operations.
The company said these platforms demonstrate its continued investment in air mobility solutions that strengthen operational readiness. Boeing’s long-standing engagement in Saudi Arabia remains focused on supporting transport and cargo capabilities that enhance logistics efficiency and resilience across defence supply chains.
