DHL Express and Landmark Group have joined forces to make international air shipments more sustainable. Landmark Group, which runs over 2,200 stores across 21 countries, will use DHL’s GoGreen Plus programme to cut carbon emissions in its global air freight operations. Unlike traditional carbon offsetting, GoGreen Plus reduces emissions directly in the supply chain by replacing regular jet fuel with SAF, made from renewable sources. Every tonne of SAF used can cut lifecycle carbon emissions by up to 80 per cent compared with conventional fossil fuels. All savings are independently verified by SGS for transparency and accountability. The partnership reflects a wider push toward carbon-neutral logistics. DHL is investing €7 billion globally by 2030 to make its operations climate-neutral, while Landmark Group is embedding sustainability across its supply chain to reduce Scope 3 emissions.

The collaboration also supports the UAE’s National Net Zero by 2050 Strategy, aimed at making the country a leader in climate action. By focusing on measurable reductions in air cargo emissions, DHL and Landmark Group are helping set an example for other companies looking to transition to more sustainable logistics practices worldwide.
