Dubai Customs and the Consulate General of the Republic of Türkiye in Dubai and the Northern Emirates are working to strengthen bilateral cooperation to support trade growth and smoother cargo flows. This collaboration aims to enhance customs operations, streamline procedures, and improve logistics efficiency, building on the UAE-Türkiye Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) and its positive impact on expanding bilateral trade.
Dubai’s strategic position as a major logistics hub enables Turkish products to reach regional, Asian, and African markets efficiently. By combining advanced customs processes with integrated logistics solutions, businesses benefit from faster clearance, reduced delays, and more reliable supply chains.
“Deeper collaboration with key trading partners ensures smoother movement of goods and more efficient customs procedures, benefiting trade and businesses,” said Dr. Abdulla Busenad, Director General of Dubai Customs.
Both Dubai and Türkiye are focused on modernizing customs and logistics practices through digital solutions, smart systems, and simplified procedures. These efforts aim to support private-sector growth, enhance the efficiency of cross-border trade, and provide Turkish companies operating in Dubai with broader access to international markets. The strengthened cooperation highlights Dubai’s role as a global trade and logistics hub and underlines the potential for continued sustainable growth in bilateral trade.
