Dubai Customs’ Cross-Border E-Commerce Platform is now accessible in English, French, and Spanish, making it easier for businesses and trade authorities worldwide to use and understand. The platform connects government authorities with shipping companies, streamlines compliance, and facilitates cross-border e-commerce efficiently.“At Dubai Customs, our goal is to make cross-border trade as seamless as possible for businesses everywhere,” said Atiq Al Muhairi, Executive Director of Customs Development. “Providing the

platform in three major languages allows companies across regions to access its full potential and integrate smoothly with Dubai’s logistics network.”

By releasing the report in three major languages, countries, trade authorities, and businesses worldwide can learn from Dubai’s model and explore best practices in digital trade facilitation. The multilingual publication emphasizes the platform’s global relevance, enabling officials and companies across continents to understand its features, workflows, and the technology behind it.

Dubai Customs plans to channel 20%-30% of low-value e-commerce shipments through the system, integrating it with regional GCC trade routes and enhancing logistics efficiency. The platform supports SMEs and multinational carriers, helping manage shipments effectively and reduce delays. The three-language report strengthens Dubai’s position as a hub for trade and logistics knowledge-sharing, demonstrating how digital platforms can be leveraged for cross-border commerce and global economic collaboration.
