Dubai South has opened a large new logistics facility built by INDU Kishore Logistics, adding more capacity to the emirate’s fast-growing cargo sector. The site, located in the Logistics District, is designed for high-volume e-commerce and general cargo operations. It covers about 23,000 square metres and can store up to 75,000 pallets, with a 22-metre height that allows efficient stacking and faster movement of goods. The centre also uses automated systems to speed up processing and reduce delays.

Mohsen Ahmad, CEO of the Logistics District at Dubai South, said: “We are pleased to welcome INDU Kishore Logistics to our growing ecosystem. Their new facility reflects the increasing demand for advanced logistics capabilities in Dubai South, driven by our integrated infrastructure and seamless connectivity. We remain committed to enabling our partners with the ideal environment to expand, innovate, and support our leadership’s vision of positioning Dubai as a global logistics hub.”

The new facility comes as demand for warehousing, fulfilment, and cargo handling continues to rise in Dubai. Companies operating in the Logistics District benefit from quick access to Jebel Ali Port through a bonded corridor, as well as direct links to the cargo terminals at Al Maktoum International Airport. This setup helps reduce transport times between sea and air freight, which is important for time-sensitive shipments.

E-commerce companies are expected to be among the main users of the new building, as it is built specifically to support faster order handling and high daily volumes. The area also includes EZDubai, a zone focused fully on online retail operations, and other logistics clusters that make Dubai South one of the key cargo hubs in the region.
